1. making it to the hotel in one piece in spite of the best efforts of the taxi driver.
2. dodging incoming seagull poop.
3. eating clam chowder out of a sourdough bread bowl.
4. watching sea lions overload the floating docks at pier 39 and fall into the water.
5. finally getting to visit San Francisco.
