waking up to a beautiful day.
realizing that I’m going to Leonard Cohen in less than two weeks.
falling in love with a beautiful handmade bowl and being able to afford it.
treating myself to raspberry sorbet as a reward for finishing something I really didn’t want to do.
how ridiculously excited I am to buy a tree for my balcony.

the sore spot between my toes because it means that I got to wear flip flops today.
my first slurpee of the year.
wearing a t-shirt without a jacket while running errands.
not getting annoyed once while shopping, even though there were tons of people out.
my first nap on my newly decorated balcony.

trips to value village where everyone finds something good.
spending a couple of hours wandering around a newly discovered and very cool flea market.
buying new furniture for my balcony.
having a friend who helps pick out and then carry new furniture.
rearranging my studio space on a whim, and having it look a million times better than it did before.

walking to work with a large bouquet of fragrant flowers.
delicious leftovers for lunch.

having a hilarious, and totally one-sided conversation with Kit Fishto about cute boys from the internet.
discovering that instead of having to pay $260 for a new computer battery, I can get one for $60.
finally remembering to make an appointment so that the nice tax people will do my taxes for me.
the lovely smells radiating from my kitchen.
my new bamboo countertop.
