the sadness? gone. the anger? raging.

I have a giant “FUCK YOU” for the world today.

If I still lived in the prairies, I’d drive myself out to a field somewhere and scream and yell and stamp my feet and throw my hands up in the air and I’d be as loud and angry as I want to be.

I can’t do these things because I live in an apartment building and my lease says that I have to keep it to myself.  But I want the internet to know that I’m yelling and stamping my feet  on the inside.

  2. picking through random piles of old wooden casting patterns and pieces and finding a few cool items that will become artwork on my walls.
  3. knowing that 30% of the money I spent on old wooden stuff will go to the food bank.
  4. pizza, the karate kid and a comfy chair.
  5. planning trips to saskatchewan because sometimes you just need to go home.

  1. meeting my dear friend, whom I love, for her birthday breakfast of tea and baked goods.
  2. the busker who played Que Sera Sera, which I thought was pretty fitting, considering.
  3. the cathartic process of writing.
  4. birthday celebrations in the park with fabulous people and sugary cupcake induced comas.
  5. coming home to my quiet apartment.
