  1. my parent’s dog deciding that the baby and I need to be guarded while we sleep.
  2. getting loving headbutts from the cat.
  3. having my mama ship all of the extra stuff I picked up on my trip instead of trying to fit it into my suitcase.
  4. a row all to ourselves on the plane.
  5. seeing my smiling husband waiting for us at the airport.
