The crows keep pulling the flowers out of the flower beds at work. It took me the longest time to catch one in the act and realize that they are removing the flowers (including the roots) to get to the bugs in the dirt underneath. Crafty creatures, those birds.

The crows in our garden steal the pears every year. I thought my husband was giving them away when they vanished without trace – but no t’was the crows! They know the exact moment when they’re ripe enough and swipe the lot!
