1. getting my first hate mail comment because it means that it’s not just my friends that read my blog anymore!
2. the ridiculous number of page views I’ve had today.
3. joining twitter because a woman who wrote an article made me laugh out loud several times and I needed to follow her immediately.
4. sales, and the boots that come home with me because of them.
5. getting to wish a friend “Happy Birthday!” in a grace in small things post.

1. the asinine conversations of strangers that keep me amused when I have forgotten to bring something to read on the plane.
2. camera puppets and get rich schemes.
3. remembering that I live by the ocean.
4. cream puff towers.
5. ringing in the new year with people I love, respect and appreciate.

1. seeing how someone has changed a space that was once my own.
2. sitting down in front of a piano for the first time in six years.
3. eventually remembering how to play that piano.
4. singing loudly in an emtpy house.
5. getting to do something that I have been looking forward to since my last visit home.

1. my freshly cleaned and very shiny laptop.
2. once again having a fast computer.
3. saving myself $50 and a large computer headache because my dad is awesome.
4. knowing that I WILL win my battle with itunes, even though I am clearly loosing at the moment.
5. checking one more thing off my holiday to do list.

2. playing cards with my grandfather, his lovely new wife, and my mama.
